BIOGRAPHY: Brenda Baxter
Brenda joined the Labour Program as Director General of the Workplace Directorate in August 2012, after three years at Health Canada as Director General of the Planning, Integration and Management Services Directorate and DG of Information Management.
In addition to her role as Director General, Workplace Directorate, Brenda has been appointed to the Public Service Task Force Working Group on Workplace Mental Health, led by Treasury Board Secretariat and the Public Service Alliance of Canada, and is the ESDC Co-Champion for Diversity.
Brenda holds a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies, both from the Technical University of Nova Scotia (Dalhousie University) and has worked in the architectural field in Canada, the United States and England. Brenda is also a graduate of the School of Public Service Living Leadership Programme (2010).
